Prescriptions
Medication Requests and Refills
Patients are responsible for taking the medication in the dose prescribed and for keeping track of the amount remaining.
Patients should contact OSF Orthopaedics Triage Department at 309-676-5546, prompt 3 during normal business hours for medication requests and refills.
Appointments & Billing
How do I schedule an Appointment?
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 309.676.5546, prompt 4. If you are a new patient or an existing patient with a new injury, our scheduling staff will match you and your specific need with one of our specialized providers.
Who do I contact for Billing Questions?
The professional services provided by the Great Plains Orthopaedics Providers billed from OSF HealthCare. Please direct billing questions to OSF HealthCare at (309) 676-5546, prompt 2.
Surgery Center
When will my surgery be scheduled?
Your surgical procedure will be scheduled based on your physician’s instructions, your needs and availability. The surgery center staff will call you one business day prior to your procedure to confirm your arrival time and to answer any questions.
Why do I need 24-hour care following surgery if I have anesthesia?
The effects of anesthesia may last up to 24 hours after surgery. You may be drowsy and may need help caring for yourself.
When can I eat after surgery?
The type of anesthesia administered will determine when you can eat or drink. Further information will be provided during discharge instructions.
