Orthopaedics has always been an area of interest for Adam K. Jelinek, PA-C. He played sports growing up and had several injuries including a partially torn ACL and distal fibula fracture, so he was able to play the role of the patient. During PA school, his orthopaedic rotations always excited him the most as he was now helping treat the injured patient. Now, Adam really enjoys having a hand helping improve the quality of life of our patients who have decided to undergo a total joint replacement or have been injured. He loves working in the OR as well as being able to see patients in the office.
Hobbies: Golfing, fishing, waterfowl hunting, and traveling.
Family: Adam has a wife, Jamie Jelinek, who is also a PA. They have a daughter, Aubrey Claire, who enjoys keeping them busy. They also have a Springer-doodle, Tucker.
Philosophy: Adam and his wife are both from small towns in Illinois. Peoria has the small town feel with all the amenities and entertainment of a bigger city. They are very close with our families and Peoria is a good gathering place
