A board certified orthopaedic surgeon, Gregory Adamson, M.D. joined Great Plains in 1994. His focus is on hand and upper extremity surgery, and microvascular and microneural surgery.
Dr. Adamson has given a variety of presentations including, “Hand Trauma and Microvascular Surgery” at the Orthopedic Symposium, jointly sponsored by the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and Orthopedic Institute of Illinois (the former name of Great Plains Orthopaedics).
Since 1996 Dr. Adamson has served as a clinical instructor of orthopedics, department of surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He previously taught Gross Anatomy and Histology courses at Stanford University College of Medicine. Dr. Adamson is a member of the J.W. Littler Hand Society, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of numerous other organizations.
Born in Iowa, Dr. Adamson and his lovely wife, Michelle, live in Germantown Hills with their four children.
