Marc Roman couldn’t imagine NOT spending his days being a part of the medical profession. And for the last six years, he has been caring for the patients of Great Plains Orthopaedics where he serves as a physician assistant. In this role, Mr. Roman performs hospital rounds, consults with physicians, assists in surgery and sees patients during clinic appointments.
He says that the Peoria medical community is very accommodating and welcoming to physician assistants. There is a high level of trust and knowledge among both medical professionals and patients about the important role physician assistants play in providing quality healthcare.
Mr. Roman says he and his wife Amanda chose to make Peoria their home because it’s a great place to raise their two children, and because of the proximity to their families.
