As a former college athlete, Keirstin Mott was often the patient in an orthopaedic office. Now she has the opportunity to give back by helping both athletes and non-athletes heal and return to their activities as quickly as possible.
Prior to beginning her role as a physician assistant, Mrs. Mott taught high school chemistry and biology, as well as coached soccer, basketball and track. But she always felt called to be in medicine. When God opened the doors, she felt it was her job to step forward in faith.
As a physician assistant, Mrs. Mott assesses patients, performs casting and splinting, removes sutures and pins, conducts hospital rounds, assists in surgery and communicates closely with the physicians.
The daughter of an Air Force Lt. Colonel, Keirstin previously lived all over the United States, but she and her husband are happy to be settled in Central Illinois.
