The staff at Great Plains Orthopaedics understands that finances are an important part of your medical care. Our Reimbursement Specialists are ready to assist you with insurance and payment issues. They can be reached at 309.589.2790 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Insurance is a contract between the policyholder and insurance carrier. We will assist you in receiving proper reimbursement from your insurance carrier. However, payment is your responsibility.
Your insurance card must be presented at your first appointment to ensure we have proper billing information. If you do not have an insurance card, you will be given the option of paying for services that day or rescheduling.
You will be required to make payment at time of service depending upon your insurance carrier. Great Plains will file your claim to your insurance company for you. After your claim is processed you will be responsible for any amount designated by your insurance that you have not previously paid. If necessary, Reimbursement Specialists will work with you to create payment plans that meet both your financial situation and remain within Great Plains’ policies.
